In the 17th Century, the Dutch name for Manhasset Bay was Schout's Bay (pronounced "Scout"). Schout is a dutch term meaning sheriff. 

Schout Bay Tavern opened August 2015, on Plandome Road in Manhasset, NY.

Executive Chef Shawn Patrick serves modern pub food, locally sourced and organic when possible. The menu is seasonal and changes frequently.

We are open for dinner, 7 nights a week.

We always offer takeout. Specials can be found on our Instagram or Facebook page or by calling the restaurant.
